Dearest,

This is a note from our heart. Our collective heart. We set out in August 2021 with great gusto, to give birth to this heart child. And what an incredible journey it has been! 14 months, 14 issues, 14 topics: created with love and heart, and brought to your doorstep. We started with an edition on Beginnings and this edition has brought us to Death.

As incredible as these 14 months have been, they have also thrown at us several challenges that we could not have foreseen. Postal services not delivering or sending to incorrect addresses. Issues not being printed correctly, the very colour of the paper changing from the mills directly, prices of the paper inflating hugely; and so much more. Internal changes in the team also proved to be demanding, because it meant relearning and restructuring the very essence of what we set out to offer. Finally, not knowing the full extent of concerns related to accountability on varied fronts brought us to our knees. We have taken it all in our stride and truly worked on delivering to you the best of The Kindness for 14 months straight. But now, to ensure that we co-create this publication in a kinder, healthier and more efficient manner, we need a PAUSE. A pause to rethink on how to make The Kindness more sustainable, fun and wholesome for both you and us.

The Kindness will change from a monthly to a quarterly starting soon.

This note is from the heart. A request to be patient and kind with us while we find our feet again and show up at your doorstep in our new avatar as early as possible. This is not the death of The Kindness but simply a process of rebirth.
