About Spiritual Ecology

The crisis that we face today is a crisis of consciousness. Our connection with Terra is fractured. And our connection with the self is also fractured. The two are not separate from each other. We all come from the Earth and return to her. She is the source and nurtures all of life.
Spiritual Ecology brings together ecology and environment education with a deeper understanding of nature as sentient and sacred. It is not based upon any one religion or spiritual practice. It acknowledges the sacredness of nature and interconnectedness of all of life. Practices of spiritual ecology are drawn from ancient, indigenous wisdom coupled with the new scientific knowledge.
