Two wildlife enthusiasts, Rajvardhan Sharma and Deepak Talan initiated a conservation program in Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve in the summer of 2006. At that time they felt a strong need to fulfil those requirements of the forest department, which weren’t met by the annual budget of the reserve. These requirements they believed were essential as far as the safety of the tigers was concerned. The objective of TGI is to donate equipment to the forest guards so as to encourage them to do their duties more diligently and thereby encourage anti-poaching activities.
Recently Latit Rajora became the Trustee of TGI. His role in the trust is extremely vital; he does all of the photography and designing for TGI. Prior to becoming a trustee, Lalit was a professional photographer but now he devotes more time for conservation.
